Improving Livelihoods

GWODEO has mobilized several of her people to form self-help groups for income-generating activities. Currently, we have a tomato farm in Mukono District where we are helping 26 rejected teenage mothers earn a living to financially sustain themselves and their children. We need approximately 54 million Uganda Shillings, the equivalent of $15,000, to set up an irrigation system at the farm and construct a tomato processing plant to maximize production and empower more youth through employment.
